Vintage Sugarcraft is operating differently in 2026

To preserve our creativity, we're choosing to dedicate some weeks to design and others to manufacturing, rather than trying to do it all at once. You can order through our website anytime, but our manufacturing windows will be clearly displayed so that you know when to expect your order.

Orders placed between now and the 23rd of April (AEST) will be manufactured from the 24th of April 2026 and then shipped.

Stay tuned for our next release of exclusive designs.

Shop before the 23rd of April to secure everything you need for your May, June and July events, while still giving yourself the time to design and promote your releases to your customers.

Orders placed from the 26th of March will be manufactured and shipped at our next manufacturing window, 24th of April 2026.

Our limited release window is now open.

We’re back in the studio after our first trip away, and quietly preparing for our next round of manufacturing over the coming days.

Rememberence.

Not only honouring the past, but in recognising what it has the power to teach us.

When we stood at Gallipoli, one message stayed with me. Words written on a memorial by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk that have since echoed across generations:

“Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives…
You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country.
Therefore rest in peace.
There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours…
You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears.
Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace.
After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.”

Standing there, it felt humbling in a way that’s hard to fully explain - a quiet, powerful reminder that even through conflict, there can be respect, compassion, and ultimately, unity.

ANZAC Day will always be a time to honour courage and sacrifice. But it is also, gently, a call toward something deeper - our shared humanity.

In a world that can feel heavy at times, this is what we choose to hold onto.

That we are more connected than we are divided.
That remembrance can live alongside kindness.
That even in reflection, there is space for peace.

If you’re a cookie baker and Easter sales feel a little slow right now… take a breath. You’re not alone.

This year Easter is early, and while we as bakers are organised weeks (sometimes months) in advance, the truth is most parents simply aren’t thinking about Easter yet.

We work ahead because we have to - designing, ordering cutters, planning sets, testing colours and packaging.

But our customers? They’re often still in “life mode,” not “Easter mode.”

A few gentle reminders before the panic sets in:

• Parents almost always leave Easter purchases to the last minute.
• The lead up to school holidays brings a rush of travel, sport and activities before Easter even arrives.
• Many families don’t start thinking about Easter until the week before.
• And historically, the biggest surge in cookie orders often comes in the final week.

My advice- don't close your orders too early!

Slow right now does not mean slow overall.

Instead of worrying, use this quiet space intentionally:

– Share photos of your Easter sets regularly

– Show your packaging and gift ideas (presentation adds so much value)

– Remind customers that cookies make beautiful alternatives to chocolate

– Offer small add-ons or teacher gifts

– And most importantly… keep talking about Easter.

Visibility creates demand.

Remember, handmade cookies are not impulse supermarket purchases.

They need to be seen, imagined and remembered before someone decides to order them.

So if things feel quiet today, don’t assume the season is lost.

Sometimes the slow start is simply the calm before the Easter rush.

The only truly Easter element in this set is the Petite Impression stamp.

My tips for building your stamp and cutter collections:

Prioritize neutral shapes
Round, oval, plaque, and scalloped cutters can suit countless themes. A single shape can be styled rustic, elegant, or playful depending on the stamp used.

Look for adaptable messages
Stamps with words like “celebrate,” “with love,” or “best wishes” work across many events, reducing the need for single-use designs.

Invest in layering potential
Choose stamps that pair well with textures, small motifs, or moulds so one stamp can create multiple looks.

Its almost time to say chow for now and I may miss these daily rituals at first but OMG I'm bursting with creativity and it's truly just the beginning.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how special this community really is.

So many of us - bakers, creators, small business owners - all showing up each day, building something meaningful with our hands and our hearts whilst walking alongside each other with kindness and gratitude.

And while every journey looks a little different, there’s something really powerful in knowing we’re not doing it alone.

To every woman in business… I hope you feel supported, encouraged and proud.

This past week has been challenging behind the scenes in many ways but it has certainly had me reflecting on the amazing women who I am so fortunate to have at my table.

All the small things..... not long now and we will be in our new space.
I been missing you xo

An early start at 5am, a full day on my feet, (knees and bum) and one room officially packed away.

These Teacher Tool Kit cookie stamps & cutters are now carefully packed into boxes as we begin relocating Vintage Sugarcraft by Catherine into its very own home.

Today was all about packing down our remaining products and my storage room - one space down, with the laser room and 3D print room still to go. Oh and let's not forget our entire home needs to be packed up as well.

I'm prioritising my passion because whilst Vintage Sugarcraft has a home to go to.....we currently don't.

This was secretly my plan to get some extra "live-in" time with our Grand Babies xox

It’s been slow, steady, and a little emotional, but also incredibly exciting watching this next chapter take shape.

As part of this move, the shelving you see here is being pulled down and will be looking for its forever home.
We’ll be installing an entirely new storage system in our new location, one that feels much more me.

One of my favourite things about our Christmas collection is how versatile the stamps and cutters are — no matter the design, they have this timeless beauty that works year after year.
For this cake, I started the way I always do: by gathering textures, colours and little festive details that spark inspiration. From there, I mixed and layered fondant shades to match the mood, then built the village scene piece by piece using my go-to tools from the collection. Watching it all come together is always the magic moment.

There is truly nothing more rewarding as a designer than seeing a beautiful baker take one of my tools and create something completely unexpected and unique.

When I first saw Ali's cookie set from @allicedup I was "jaw to the floor".

The mix of textures, the choice of colour palette.

The way every detail worked together so effortlessly. I would never have thought to combine our Gingerbread and Angel Edible Images.

I always saw them as a compliment to two different sets.

But WOW... Not only does it work, it looks gorgeous and adds such a level of interest to this set.

This is the magic of creativity.

Seeing our beautiful baking community choosing my cutters, stamps, and edible images and turning them into something that reflects their own vision, their own artistry is the biggest joy for me and I will always be so grateful.

Today I’m celebrating Ali and the way she has brought this Platter Box set to life with so much heart.

Some designs feel special from the moment they’re sketched… and this little teddy is one of them.

My most popular Teddy by far, he's travelled far and landed in the kitchen of beautiful bakers all over the world.

He was inspired by my son’s childhood bear - lovingly named Raymond. Raymond survived to tell the tale and still has a special place in my son's home today. A little worn, a little hugged-out, but completely timeless.

This Teddy Stamp & Cutter set is my way of celebrating those memories that stay with us… the ones that shape our families, our stories, and our seasons.

Creating pieces like this reminds me why I do what I do: to honour the past, treasure the present, and craft something sweet enough to become part of someone else’s memory too.
