Long Acrylic Plates can be tricky to work with. They are prone to lifting and movement when rolling and you may need to adjust your technique to get the best results.

Ive popped a reel up on Instagram showing my technique which you may find helpful.

To achieve the best results:

Use fresh fondant icing

Roll out slightly thicker than you usually would

Dust your plate very lightly with cornflour

Apply plate to icing and press down and wiggle to form a bond before rolling. This helps reduce movement and air bubbles forming

Work from your shortest end along the plate

Roll over each image a couple of times, working your way along each image until you reach the end of the plate.

Check for air bubbles.

Lift the plate from the shortest side to prevent your icing distorting.
